We collect and process personal data to provide martial arts instruction and manage your membership. This includes identity, contact, student progress, financial, and health data required for safe coaching.
Just Karate provides coaching for children aged 5 and over. All accounts for students under the age of 18 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not market directly to minor students.
Under the UK GDPR, we rely on Contractual Necessity, Legitimate Interests, Legal & Insurance Obligations, and Consent to process your data effectively.
We do not sell your data. We share information only with trusted service providers like Stripe (payments), Mailchimp (newsletters), and our insurers (policy compliance).
Our partners are based in the United States. We ensure protection using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and compliance with the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework.
We take the security of our bespoke student portal seriously, utilizing industry-standard encryption to protect your login data. We retain your information based on the following requirements:
